This temple of Lord Siva in the form of Raja Rajeshwara Swami is very famous in This Part Of The Region. The presiding deity of the temple is Sri Raja Rajeswara Swami who is locally popular as Rajanna who is adorned on both the sides by the idol of Sri Raja Rajeswari Devi on the right side and to the left is the idol of Sri Laxmi Sahitha Siddi Vinayaka.

There is holy tank called the Dharma Gundam in the middle of the temple. It is considered holy to have a dip in the water of this pond but now the water is a bit polluted and doesn t look that hygienic to have a dip. If you really want to have a dip it is better to have few drops of water from the pond over the head. Four mandapas are constructed around the pond with the siva lingas in the middle of them and the Statue of Lord Siva is in the centre of the Holy tank.
During Sivaratri which is the most auspicious of the festival for Shivaites there is a very heavy conglomeration of devotees. The crowd which gathers here and the revenue which is collected as the offering s of the devotees run to lakhs and is 2nd to the Lord of Seven Hills, Tirumala.

Sri Anjaneya Swami Temple:

                                                                                         





The Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple is located around 37 km away from Karimnagar. As per the local belief, the shrine was built some 300 years ago by a cowherd. The present structure of the temple is believed to be constructed by Krishna Rao Deshmukh around 160 years ago.

A regional belief states that if a woman offers prayers to the Lord for 40 days then she will be blessed with a child. Hanuman Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman, is celebrated at the temple every year. The fort of Kondalaraya and Bojjapotana Caves are the major attractions located close to this temple

Laxmi Narasimha Swamy Temple:

                                                                    




The temple appears to be built in 12th century during Kakatiyas as seen from the sculpture.

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Bejjanki village and Mandal head Quarters of Karimnagar district is situated on a hillock on North-West of the village. The architectural Sculpture of the temple resemble to that of Chalukyas and Kakatiyas architecture and Sculpture.

All round the temple there is a well with entry on three sides. The mandap built facing the deity has Dwarapalaks on the North of the Mandap.
The temple is a great piece of sculpture. The four pillars of the Mandap were great by carved Portraying pictures from Puranas and social events. Several deities were portrayed by carvings in the riches on four sides of the pillars. Images of several deities were carved on the pillars. The external domes on the left side of the temple portray the figures depicting Ratikreeda. The sculpture in the temple is a magnificent piece of art of the period. The Gopuram on the sane tum sanatorium resembles the gopuras of temples of Kadambulas.

NTPC Ramagundam, a part of National Thermal Power Corporation, is a 2600 MWPower station situated at Ramagundam in Karimnagar district in the Indian state of Andhra PradeshIndia. It is the current largest power station in South India. It is the first ISO 14001 certified "Super Thermal Power Station" in India

NTPC Ltd., Ramagundam has two TG Halls one for STAGE - I and the other common for STAGE-II and STAGE-III. These TG halls are equipped with heavy overhead cranes that assist in transportation of material to, from and within the TG hall. These cranes find their use greatly during overhauls

   The Singareni Collieries Company Limited or SCCL is a government-owned coal mining company in India. One of the public sector undertakings, the company is jointly owned by the Andhra Pradesh government (51 percent) and the Union Government (49 percent). The Union Government's administration of the company is through the Ministry of Coal. SCCL is currently operating 15 opencast and 35 underground mines in 4 districts of Andhra Pradesh with a manpower around 65,354

It is located about 30 km from Guntur City and its main attraction is the Ethipothala Water Falls located 11 km away from the dam and a beautiful Botanical garden.

Amaravathi is located on the bank of Krishna River about 34 km North-East from Guntur City. It is one of the most sacred pilgrim centers for Buddhists in India with several Buddhist Stupas and Sculptures. Main attractions of the site are a Buddhist museum, Stupas, Shiva Temple (Amareswara 15 ft height) and ancient Pali script. Undavalli caves are the examples for Indian rock-cut architecture of ancient age. It is situated just 22 km northeast from Guntur city on the way of Guntur-Kolkata Express Way Road in the village of Undavalli. Famous Managalagiri is located close to the Undavalli Vaves.

Managalagiri is located about 21 km away from Guntur City on the way of the Guntur-Vijayawada-Chennai National Highway. Main attraction on the hillock of Managalagiri is a temple of Lakshmi Narasimha Swami.

Kotappakonda is a hilly village about 35 km South West from Guntur city close to Narsaraopet. This village is famous for the temple of Trikoteswara Swamy and the caves of Guthikonda.

Ponnur is located about 40 km South from Guntur City on the Guntur-Chirala state high way. This place is famous for the ancient temple of Anjaneya Swamy.

Sitanagaram is an ancient site located about 25 km North-East from Guntur City. Main attraction of the place is Someswara Swami temple. The place was termed its name from Sita, wife of Lord Ramah.

Visakhapatnam has the only natural harbour on the east coast of India.

The calm and serene Bheemunipatnam Beach is located at the confluence of Gosthani River and the Bay of Bengal. Bheemunipatnam is featured by the ruins of a 17th century fort and cemetery, and history reveals that this was a Dutch settlement earlier period. 

The beach, known also as 'Bheemli', is renowned as the safest and calmest location for swimmers. 

The beach and refreshing climate united with the agreeable nature with the lusting greenery all around and the lined palm groves makes it an admired beach.

Kailasa Giri:



                                                              





An attractive and local favourite hill station, Kailasa Giri offers a spectacular view of the sea. It has serene and beautiful Rushikonda beach and RK beach on the left and hillock on the right. As the name suggests, the hill is Kailasa, the abode of Lord Shiva and Parvathi, massive sculpture of Shiva and Parvathi is seen here.

It is visited by many visitors who reach the hillock, with ropeway facility. A children playing field located in a picturesque and serene atmosphere, is sure to enthrall you. Imposing view of the city with illuminations in the evening can be enjoyed from the ropeway.

Taraka Rama Park, popularly known as VUDA (Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority) Park, is a majestic attraction in Visakhapatnam and many tourists visit here mainly due to its amazing musical fountain. The park is designed and constructed by the VUDA and is in the close proximity of Ramakrishna Beach. 

This is an ideal place for tourists especially children. Children can enjoy the Green playfields, lush green lawns, artificial caves, and flower gardens. Facilities for horse riding, skating and camel rides apart from boating are available in the park.

Dolphin's Nose, a mammoth rocky headland of about 174 meter high, is situated in the southern part of Visakhapatnam city. The rock resembles a dolphin’s nose is nicely placed at an altitude of 358 meter with its projection to the Bay of Bengal in Visakhapatnam. This is a verdant attraction for many visitors as it is nature’s gift in its rarest form.

A renowned powerful light house highly useful for the shippers and has a light beam that can be seen as far as 64 km out at sea is also placed nearby. One can have a panoramic view of the city from this place.
